That fatal kiss is all we need
From my collection of crime paperbacks, this covers were designed by Andrade de Albuquerque. He was not really a graphic designer but a writer and editor of detective stories. In 1958 he created a publishing house, named Enigma Collection and started designing covers, like the ones we see above.

These days there’s a party in every corner of Lisbon. Festas dos Santos Populares, as we call it, is a traditional pagan celebration that honors the native born patron saint of Lisbon: Santo António.
Here’s a cool poster of the event, designed by Oskar in the late 1950s.
